Hendersonville NC Real Estate Blog: The Book Exchange in Flat Rock NC

The Book Exchange in Flat Rock NC

I just stopped at one of my favorite places in the area, the Flat Rock Book Exchange.Flat Rock Book Exchange Located at 2680 Highway 225 in Flat Rock Center, the building is the original Flat Rock Post Office. It has been placed on the National Registery of Historic Places, and has been lovingly restored and cared for. It is a beautiful and quiet place to linger, and leave with great finds.

Besides books, they also have magazines, cards and some artwork.

The Book Exchange is run by the all volunteer Ladies Aid Society of Flat Rock, and all profits are donated to local charities.

Their hours are currently 10am to 4:00 pm Monday through Saturday. Stop by and linger and saunter home with some really good finds.

Thanks Timothy, Oh I love Sky Top Orchards. I was just up there a few weeks ago showing a client the view and they loved the orchards up there. It is so pretty, and I love buying apples from the place below. A real gem.

Thanks Rachael for the comment on my blog. I appreciate that.

Very nice to see a historical building repurposed in a way that really benefits the community. I like all of the brickwork, and the bench on the front porch looks like a great spot to relax for a few minutes.

It really is a great place. I love hanging out there, and sitting out front for a while going through my great buys.
