The New Keller Williams DotLoop System
It has been almost two weeks now since DotLoop updated their paperless transaction system for the Keller Williams eEdge system. For those of you who are a Keller Williams Agent, or any agent using this system, you are going to love the new system. I hope that you are getting in there and using it now, so you will be a pro in short order. It is easy to learn and will make your life easier if you take the time to learn all it has to offer.
To turn it on sign into your account, and then go to any Transaction page. When the page opens you will see the invite at the top of the page in a red strip. If you click to start, it will show you a short video, and then invite you to start the new system. Nervous? You can watch this really great 25 minute video to see all of the benefits and how it works prior to starting it. Or you can see a quick slide show of the Dotloop Features.
You can now invite anyone to see any document in a transaction, not just the buyer, seller and other agent. The Lender can see the offer to purchase. The Appraisor and inspector can be invited to upload the reports they create for the buyer to see. All documents in one place with only those who need to see them invited in.
DotLoop is just about to go mobile and you will actually be able to get signatures on your mobile devices soon.
If you switch over and feel buyers remorse, you can always switch back to the old system for a while. They are still working out the bugs, and already in the first week they quickly fixed around 35 of them. If you get stuck, there are several ways to get assistance. Try http://answers.kw.com/knowledgemanager/ and you will find a search box for questions. Here you can watch video's on a variety of eEdge topics. You may have to be logged in get get the pages to work for you. And if all else fails Keller Williams has a great group of people ready to assist you with all of the changes. You can call them at (512)306-7191.
Be sure you get in there and learn it sooner than later. There will be a final cut off date for the final switch. I have heard various dates ranging from 90 days to June 17th. I am still not sure when it will be, so getting it set and ready now would be a great thing to do.
